This Saturday: the most disrupted day of the weekend
A disturbance crosses the south of the country, bringing showers to the southwest, especially south of the Garonne. Remember to bring your umbrella if you are in these areas. Strong scattered storms break out around the Mediterranean, especially on the Côte d'Azur and Corsica (see our alert on this subject)while the rest of the country remains under a gray and overcast sky, except in the mountains where the sun should dominate.
Temperatures are rather mild for the season, 5 to 15°C this morning, and 9 to 19°C from north to south in the afternoon. It is a little cooler in the northeast, under low clouds.
Advice : if you are traveling, be patient on the roads and anticipate possible slowdowns linked to humid conditions in the south. Also keep an eye on our local forecasts, especially in Corsica where storms can occasionally complicate travel.
Sunday: calm, but often very cloudy
The day promises to be calmer, but gray weather will persist in the majority of plain regions. Light rain is possible at the foot of the Pyrenees, while isolated drizzle could appear in other regions. Conversely, the mountains and the south-east will benefit from clearings, with the mistral and the tramontane blowing in the Mediterranean which will clear the sky.
Temperatures will remain relatively mild: 3 to 14°C in the morning, and 10 to 18°C in the afternoon.
Advice : Plan indoor activities in the grayer areas, or head to the mountains or the southeast to soak up the sun. On the Mediterranean coast, be careful of the wind if you plan outdoor activities.
Monday November 11: calm with a northerly breeze
For the last day of this long weekend, gray weather will still be present over a large part of the country, with some drizzle possible in the northeast. A light breeze will blow to the north, accentuating a feeling of freshness. On the other hand, the sun should shine on the southern reliefs and near the Mediterranean, even if the wind will still be strong there.
Morning temperatures will vary from 6 to 14°C, with highs of 10 to 19°C in the afternoon.
Advice : If you plan to hit the road again on Monday, don't leave too late due to heavy traffic towards the main cities and the arrival of light rain in the northeast quarter.
