On the occasion of the broadcast of “Nicky Larson and the perfume of Cupidon” this evening on M6, we invite you to play with the films of Philippe Lacheau and his friends!
It's been almost 20 years since the general public discovered the Bande à Fifi in The Grand Journal from Canal+. Since then, the troupe of comedians has launched into cinema, with success. From Babysitting, released 10 years ago, to Alibi.com 2, released last year, Philippe Lacheau and his cohorts never cease to make the French laugh.
On the occasion of the broadcast of Nicky Larson and the perfume of Cupidon on M6 at 9:10 p.m., we offer you a quiz on the films of the gang, who are currently preparing their next project, and not the least: a new live adaptation of the adventures of Marsupilami, after the one produced by Alain Chabat in 2012. But before you get started, here are some anecdotes about their version of Nicky Larson.
Did you know?
Generation Club Do
Philippe Lacheau belongs to the Dorothée club generation and Nicky Larson, who arrived on French television in the 90s, is one of the filmmaker's favorite cartoons. “It was a real comedy. There was also action, police investigations, love stories, but above all it was very funny. Nicky, beyond making me laugh, is the best in everything he does: he is at the same time a detective, a bodyguard, a cleaner… the James Bond of comedy in short“, he confides.
Writing process
To fully immerse themselves in the world of Nicky Larson, Julien Arruti, Philippe Lacheau, his brother Pierre Lacheau and Pierre Dudan (the same team as Babysitting) reviewed the 144 episodes of the cartoon which were broadcast in France and reread them 37 issues of the manga.
Physical preparation
Philippe Lacheau was so motivated that he forced himself to follow a diet and physical training for eight months to gain 8 kg of muscle. “At the same time, I worked diligently on the choreography of action scenes, I also learned to shoot Magnums, submachine guns and other heavy weapons, and then I dyed my hair“, he says.
