Service is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, bringing the QR Code PIX to invoices
After intense action by the Rights and Prerogatives Commission (CDP) of the Brazilian Bar Association – Goiás Section (OAB-GO) and the support of the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJ-GO), Banco do Brasil (BB) made the judicial deposit option available via Pix for court operations. This progress is the result of a series of negotiations carried out in partnership by the institutions.
According to the president of the Order, Rafael Lara, over the last few months, the three fronts have worked together to ensure more practicality, efficiency and security for the legal profession in Goiás and for the parties involved in legal proceedings. He expressed satisfaction with the achievement, which reflects the good relationship between the institutions. “This innovation is the result of the commitment to the modernization and efficiency of the judicial system”, he emphasized.
Kaito Wllysses, vice-president of CDP, highlighted that the initiative is the result of consistent dialogue and a collaborative relationship. “CDP, always attentive to the needs of the legal profession, acted proactively, counting on the essential support of TJ-GO to guarantee this achievement. This collaboration represents an advance in the acceptance of judicial values, making the process more agile and secure”, he stated.
How does judicial deposit via Pix work?
Through Banco do Brasil's digital self-service system, the system generates a QR Code that can be paid by any of the more than 800 banking institutions participating in Pix in the country. Since October 28th, this service has been available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, eliminating the need for a bank slip.
Main benefits
- Speed in the judicial process: payment via Pix eliminates bank clearing time, speeding up the process of releasing judicial amounts.
- Availability: the deposit option is accessible at any time, including weekends and holidays, offering more flexibility.
- Security: the use of QR Code reduces the risk of errors and increases security in the deposit process.
- Wide accessibility: with the participation of hundreds of banking institutions in the Pix system, lawyers and parties can choose where to make the payment, according to their preferences.
