The Timberwolves They arrive in Chicago after achieving a victory against LaMelo Ball’s Hornets by 114-93 with 25 points and 9 rebounds from Naz Reid.
The team led by Chris Finch is a priori the favourite; however, they have not yet found their game at the start of the season and have lost to fairly affordable rivals such as Lakers or more recently against Spurs under the young Wembanyama.
The Bulls, meanwhile, are playing at home and will try to break their current three-game losing streak against Brooklyn, Utah and Dallas.
The visitors have all their players available, and in Chicago they have the doubt of Zach LaVine who is suffering from discomfort in his thigh.

Breaking news of the Timberwolves: injuries and fitness level
As we said before, Chris Finch has all his players available to visit the United Center in Chicago and try to scratch another one on his way through the East.
Minnesota has a bit of everything and a lot of variety. Edwards as their leading scorer (27,6); Gobert as a defensive wall and best rebounder (10) and a surprise… Julius Randle as their best assistant with 4,7 per game.
They also have the added bonus of Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo from the second unit. The center was very accurate in his last game with 25 points and 9 rebounds, with 9/13 shooting and 5/7 on three-pointers.
Players to watch: Anthony Edwards
Edwards is a real rocket and when he charges towards the opposing hoop, very few are able to stop him.
He is sometimes a bit impetuous, but as his teammate Mike Conley acknowledged, he is reading the games much better, and with it the offensive situations. A total player, very fast and with a hellish pace, he is also capable of shooting from outside, as evidenced by his current 45% in three-pointers.
Bulls latest: injuries and form
Zach LaVine missed the previous game against Dallas with a thigh problem and is expected to return to the starting lineup early this morning.
Who is confirmed to be out is his teammate Lonzo Ball, who suffered a wrist injury and is not yet ready to return.
Players to watch: Josh Giddey
Because of his impact on the court and also because his future contract is at stake in this league, Giddey is the player to watch on Billy Donovan’s Bulls.
Against Dallas he suffered against Irving and Doncic, and tonight he will not have an easy time with the aforementioned Edwards, or DiVincenzo when he comes off the bench.
In his first eight games with the Bulls, he has averaged 14 points, 6,6 rebounds and 6,3 assists while shooting 42% from three-point range.
Timberwolves vs Bulls: Head to Head History
Although it may seem unbelievable, the statistics are very much in favor of the Bulls, who have won seven of their last 7 matches, and the last three in a row.
In their last game played on March 31, the Bulls won 109-101 with 27 points from DeMar DeRozan and 21 from Alex Caruso, currently out of the team.
That night Nikola Vucevic also had a very good performance with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for himself.
Predictions for the Timberwolves vs Bulls
Who stops Edwards? Edwards is undoubtedly the player to stop if the Bulls want to have even a slight chance of winning. The guard is fast and strong, and between Giddey, White and Ayo Dosunmu they’re going to have to put in extra work tonight.
Throughout his NBA career Edwards averages 22,5 points, 6,3 rebounds and 4,9 assists per game against the Bulls.
The inner duel, key. Another point in Minneapolis’ favor is their superiority in the paint with Gobert, Randle and Reid. If nothing goes wrong, both Randle and Reid can score big against Vucevic and the inconsistent Patrick Williams.
