Today, several matches were held in the latest round of the UEFA Conference League Group Stage. The highlight of the day was Chelsea’s historic and emphatic 8-0 victory over Armenia’s Noah at home.

Enzo Fernández started as captain for the London side and recorded a remarkable three assists in just 20 minutes on the pitch. The professional gap between the two teams was so significant that the coach decided to substitute several players at halftime, including the former River Plate star.

Meanwhile, several matches in the Europa League took place today as well. One such match saw Manchester United secure a 2-0 home win against Greece’s PAOK. Alejandro Garnacho was in the starting lineup, while Lisandro Martínez came on from the substitutes’ bench.

As part of the 11th round of the South American Qualifiers, Argentina’s national team is set to face Paraguay as visitors on Thursday, the 14th. Following that, on Tuesday the 19th, Scaloni’s squad will clash with Peru at La Bombonera. Notably, Boca Juniors will also play at home just 24 hours later against Unión in the Liga Profesional de Fútbol.

With the upcoming FIFA Date approaching, Alejandro Garnacho gave an interview with Manchester United’s official media. At one point, he spoke about his call-ups to the national team: “At first, it was a bit challenging for me. Whenever you’re new, it’s tough to adapt. But honestly, the people there have treated me very well from the start.”

He further added: “Now I’m comfortable and really eager to try and win things with the national team as well. It’s a huge pressure because it’s a very big team. They come off winning two Copa América titles and the World Cup… It’s pressure playing there.”

He concluded with these words: “But I forget about that when I’m on the pitch. I try to do what I know. That’s just me.” It’s also worth noting that Nicolás González will miss the matches against Paraguay and Peru, giving Garnacho ample opportunity to gain more minutes.
