Brigitte Macron meets the students of Star Academy… and agrees to sing along: this adorable video!

Focused on their courses, their evaluations and nominations, the students of the Star Academy certainly did not expect to receive a visit from the wife of President Emmanuel Macron to the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys. “Friends, I have the pleasure of introducing Brigitte Macron and Justine Atlan (general director of the e-Enfance association, editor’s note) who are there as part of the national week against bullying at school” Director Michaël Goldman told them.

After discussing the subject with the candidates, Brigitte Macron listened to them sing the anthem of season 12: “Start me again.” She also sang along while watching them, to the delight of viewers and Internet users who discovered the scene in the daily newspaper of November 6. The students were very attentive to the speech given by the First Lady during her intervention and sang their anthem with enthusiasm.

Brigitte Macron committed to the fight against school bullying

Former teacher, Brigitte Macron is committed to the fight against school bullying. During her exchange with the staracademicians, she explained: “It was the first subject that arrived on my desk when Emmanuel became President, perhaps because I am a teacher”. She then stated: “I received a lot of letters from students, saying to me: 'Go on this subject, talk about it, etc.' That’s how it all started.” Justine Atlan joined the e-Enfance association in 2016, after working as a written press journalist. The role of this organization is described on its website. “With 3018, the association supports young victims and witnesses of harassment and digital violence”, can we read there. The following additional information can also be read on the e-enfance.org website: “The 3018, a unique intervention capability. The listeners support young victims of harassment, cyberbullying and other digital violence, parents and professionals in their educational role. Open 7 days a week until 11 p.m., 3018 is a free service.”
