97 minutes takes us on a flight like no other. This is the one linking London to Los Angeles, in a Boeing 767 hijacked by terrorists. Attackers who have claimed nothing on board and who seem to be hiding something… While the plane, almost without fuel, only has 97 minutes on the clock before crashing! Faced with the threat, an agent infiltrated among the hijackers will try to thwart their plans. Problem is, the NSA wants to rely on a much more radical strategy: to explode the Boeing in the air before it does more damage on earth.
Alec Baldwin back after the accident on the set of Rust
Not really followed by American cinemas, nor in those around the world, 97 minutes had to settle for a release on the Hulu platform and on VOD. For Alec Baldwin, the project was nevertheless synonymous with a return to the sets after the accidental death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust. A 42-year-old cinematographer, she was the victim of a shooting by Alec Baldwin, armed with a weapon for the purposes of a scene. A pistol containing no blanks and loaded with real ammunition. After a complaint for “dangerous behavior” of the victim's family against him, Baldwin finally signed a financial agreement with his relatives. The legal proceedings were unsuccessful despite multiple instructions. A sensitive subject addressed by the actor in a short video posted on social networks, during the filming of 97 minutes : “It feels weird to be back at work. I haven't worked since October 21 of last year, when this horrible thing happened on the set of this movie and we had the accidental death of our director of photography, Halyna Hutchins (…) I feel like I've forgotten how to act and all that shit.”
