Who has not ever looked at how their team has turned out in BeSoccer? It is strange that lovers of this sport do not know one of the most popular live results applications in the world. Founded in 2008, this Wednesday it was announced that the Czech company Livesport has acquired 100% of the Malaga company founded by Manu Heredia and it will be part of its prestigious portfolio in which Flashscore is already located. With this integration, Livesport’s user base, estimated at 100 million per month, will increase by another 25 million.

“The acquisition of BeSoccer will significantly strengthen our position in Spanish and French speaking countries, where BeSoccer has a strong user base. Its product and territorial reach perfectly complement Flashscore, especially in soccer, our leading sport among the 30+ that we cover. This acquisition is the largest in our company’s history, reflecting our aspiration to remain at the forefront of the industry; The BeSoccer platform will help us increase our reach to fulfill our mission: to disseminate all sports information instantly,” said Martin Hájek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Livesport.

The Prague-based company has grown from a local live results provider to become the world leader in instant sports informationmainly known under the brand name of the flagship product Flashscore. With over 100 million monthly users and over 150 million app downloads, Flashscore offers all the essential sports information on 38 sports to sports enthusiasts in more than 50 countries.

Manu Heredia, current majority owner of BeSoccer, will continue to play a fundamental role in the development of the company by serving as an advisor to the board of directors. “I had a dream to change the football industry, and I have been incredibly happy throughout the journey. “I feel especially proud to see what BeSoccer has become and the incredible team that has helped us become the most popular live soccer results application in the world,” said Heredia in statements to Diario Sur.

“We were rivals, but at the same time we had complementary audiences: they are very strong in the Anglo-Saxon market and we are very strong in the Spanish-speaking and French-speaking markets. That has convinced them and they also benefit from how powerful BeSoccer is in the ‘business to business’, with BeSoccer Pro, which works for more than fifty clubs, including Real Madrid, Betis, Valencia…“Heredia confessed.

Over the years, Heredia has received several purchase offers, but he says he wanted to wait until the right time and the right buyer. That moment seems to have finally arrived.
