EXCLUDED Gustin and Maxim (Koh-Lanta), “worst enemies”? Explanations after this sentence which surprised more than one

The twelfth episode of Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribebroadcast Tuesday November 5, 2024 on TF1, was full of twists and turns! First of all, Maxim and Cassandre, ultimately not eliminated, fought a duel on the cursed island. It was the young 23-year-old author who emerged as the winner and was thus able to rejoin the adventure, much to the surprise of her classmates. For his part, Maxim has joined the final jury's residence… just like Gustin. Indeed, during the council, the adventurers of the reunited white tribe decided to eliminate him. Near PurepeopleMaxim spoke about his experience on the other side of the world, without any comfort. The opportunity also for him to explain the few words of Gustin, who presented him as his “worst enemy“.

In the last episode, Gustin states that you are his “worst enemy“, why is this?

I would love to know. I didn't know that I was his worst enemy. I challenge you to explain to me, to show me something that could cause me to be considered his worst enemy, I can't find one myself. I have always, I think, been fair to him. I wasn't rude. He had an argument with Sarah but not with me, so I don't really understand. Afterwards, I tell myself that perhaps this is just an argument to tell Cassandra that he had no choice. But that's not true, he had a choice at that moment.

What do you think of his behavior on the camp?

It's very special because when you meet him, he seems really friendly, he's funny and touching. After a few days of adventure, it quickly becomes annoying because he only talks about food and he brings everything back to his hunger. So cohabitation with a guy like that becomes painful. And then, obviously, when he's lying down for several days in a row, we tell ourselves that we can't continue with someone like that. There are people who are still more deserving than him even if they are basically less good than him athletically. So in these conditions, we want to eliminate it.
