The dark night of wokism

The dark night of wokism
The dark night of wokism

In the United States of America, Donald Trump claims victory. Emmanuel Macron congratulates him, and writes “be ready to work together as we have been able to do for four years. With your beliefs and with mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity. » This global event is a terrible snub for progressivism. And wokism, its stupid appendage.

Trump's victory is above all the defeat, the rout of Wokism, this jumble of false science, adulterated morality, self-hatred, contempt for truth. Populism has been expressed. This populism which is, in truth, nothing other than the affirmation of the voice and reason of the people. The complete opposite of the caricature that our sacralized intelligentsia wants to draw and impose on us.

Not a whim of the ballot box

This victory far exceeds the electoral victory of one man. It is even more the masterful mark of the awakening of the legions of common sense and the culture of reality. This election should mark for the West as a whole, here and there, at home and in Brussels, the year one of what could be a reconquest. Or in any case the emergence of a new breath. It sounds, to paraphrase who you know, “the twilight of idols”. Idols artificially manufactured against this same common sense, against, above all, the populations. Against the immense mass of people in real life. Also, President-elect Donald Trump speaks the truth – oh so much – when he claims “We wrote history”. There is indeed that. And no one will be able to act as if it was only a “regrettable” electoral incident, a whim of the polls, a trick of the devil, a deplorable misunderstanding. This is of course what the fine minds here will shamelessly try to make us swallow.

The hangover from globalism, still blissful yesterday

However, the question for us today, with our noses in front of the extraordinary result, is to know what we are going to do with it. What interpretation will our media, the authorities, our ministerial offices, the European authorities confined in blissful globalism propose? We await repentance. We are awaiting the refoundational analyses. We eagerly watch for university reactions. We hope for a salutary intellectual humility across the country, among our dear scholars in particular, this humility so necessary, particularly in the distinguished media which have bombarded us in recent weeks with what the result of the day relegates, whether they like it or not , in the register of fake news. That's how it is.

We can and must hope for a new day at home, on that side at least. If only because of the phenomenal slap that has just been administered to the pitiful so-called Republican barrage in the second round of this spring's legislative elections. Above-ground dam, unworthy manipulation, in fact, against the true expectations of the people. The demonstration through the voice of Uncle Sam has just been given to us. This dawn of November 6, the day, for us, dawned in the West.
