Donald Trump, who claims to have won this election, has denounced massive fraud in Pennsylvania, a key state where he is the winner.
Moment of tension in the United States. The American people were called to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, for the presidential election. Several incidents, which occurred on the sidelines of this election, were reported across the country. This campaign was notably marked by an assassination attempt against Donald Trump last July. The billionaire claimed another victory during a speech in Florida.
The former President of the United States, who is getting closer to a return to the White House, denounced massive fraud in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the seven key states in this presidential election. “This allegation is completely unfounded. This is yet another example of misinformation. Voting in Philadelphia took place safely”, underlined Seth Bluestein, in charge of electoral operations on the Philadelphia side, reports BFMTV.
False bomb threats in key states
Several US polling stations were targeted by false bomb threats. These incidents have been recorded in Georgia, Arizona and even Pennsylvania. In a statement, the FBI said it had “knowledge of bomb threats at polling places in several states, several of which appear to emanate from Russian internet domain names”.
Problems with voting and counting machines were also reported in several states. In Nevada, malfunctions on more than ten thousand ballots were identified, according to CNN. At least 13,000 voters, who voted by mail, must verify their identity because of a signature problem.
