Flavie agreed to talk about her cancer on the show and even continue filming, in order to take her mind off things. In the next episode, broadcast Monday November 11 and already available on M6+, viewers will find the young couple, welcomed by Karine Le Marchand who wanted to hear their news. Today, at only 21 years old, Flavie has just completed more than five months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment. It all started in February. “A week after I left Valentin’s farm, the surgeon called me to give me an appointment quickly. I had undergone surgery for a tumor that was considered benign before participating in the show. I had a cyst on my right shoulder and I saw a dermatologist in October 2023. She did a biopsy, everything was fine”she says in the columns of Parisian. Her doctor contacted her again two months later to tell her the bad news, during the filming period. Love is in the meadow. Flavie and Valentin have only been a couple for a week, but the 26-year-old farmer does not intend to abandon his new sweetheart. “I didn't ask myself the question of leaving or staying. We always have tough times in life, we have to get over them. Flavie was strong”testifies the Norman to our colleagues.

At the request of the suitor, the production advances the filming where Valentin must meet Flavie's loved ones, before she begins chemotherapy. “Valentin was there the first day, he came to my room and saw me throwing up. But afterwards it got better, I was a little nauseous but, overall, I tolerated the treatment very well.”declares the young woman Parisian. “The biggest blow was when I shaved my hair, I was tired of seeing it fall outto have them in his hand, Valentin had more difficulty at that moment and that is normal. I told myself that this would be the only opportunity to shake things up in my life. I even filmed it”says Flavie. Now her treatment is over and she has been able to return to her job as a saleswoman. “I'm not yet in remission but waiting for results. And I'm doing well! Why waste away when I'm in good shape and not too sick? Nothing changes except that I no longer have hair“, concludes the young woman, as sparkling as ever.
