Beaten in their last three trips, the Garnets had to react in order to put an end to this ugly series. The journey to Corsica, to , promised to be far from simple, but victory was essential in order to resume moving forward.

Faced with the aceist formation, Stéphane Le Mignan decided to make several changes. Thus, Pape Sy and Morgan Bokele celebrated their first start in Ligue 2 BKT and respectively replaced Alexandre Oukidja and Papa Amadou Diallo. At the same time, Jessy Deminguet found his place in the midfield.

Looking for success for four meetings, the ACA started the meeting with a bang. From the start, Tim Jabol placed a header that ended up on the crossbar and Pape Sy deployed at full length to prevent Julien Anziani from opening the scoring (5th).

Jostled, the Garnets reacted via Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly. Metz's top scorer took to the defense quickly before losing his duel with François Sollacaro (15th). In the process, the Senegalese international found the post before being flagged offside (17th).

Coming into play following Pape Sy's injury, Alexandre Oukidja quickly stood out and captured Moussa Soumano's header (27th). A few minutes later, the Garnets took advantage of an unsteady aceist pass to take the lead. Gauthier Hein was quick to eliminate François Sollacaro and open the scoring (0-1, 30°).

Shortly before the break, Morgan Bokele made two powerful accelerations and managed to put the local defense in difficulty. Firstly, it took a sublime reflex save from François Sollacaro (40°) and his second attempt was captured without too much difficulty (44°).

Returning from the locker room, ACA pushed to get back into the score and it took a reflex save from Alexandre Oukidja to repel Christopher Ibayi's vicious shot (69°). The Garnets were not left out either. Unfortunately, Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly's missile was repelled by the Corsican goalkeeper (78°) then the attacker narrowly missed a serve from Maxime Colin (80°).

Jostled, particularly in the first period, the Garnets finally managed to maintain this advantage. A success achieved thanks to a united and supportive team. We will now have to improve this one from this Saturday, with the reception of SM .
