Accused of psychological, sexual and physical violence by his ex-wife, rapper Nekfeu denounced “malicious intentions” in a press release published on X by his lawyer, Me Marie-Alix Cano-Bernard, this Monday, November 4. The press release from his former partner is “entirely false and defamatory”, he wrote
On Sunday, his ex-wife, through her lawyer, made public the conflict between them over the custody of their son and was, this Monday, heard in police custody for failure to represent a child. She reported of violence “for nearly four years”, but also of “rape”. She claims to live “a real hell” and would suffer from “severe post-traumatic stress”.
The rapper quickly reacted by saying that “These accusations have already been dismissed […] and come back at the very moment when she was arrested last night for the worrying disappearance of [son] 3-year-old son,” said the 34-year-old artist.
Three complaints dismissed
According to him, after a previous “financial blackmail”, it is a attempt “in desperation to dirty [son] honor in public”. “I am all the more saddened and disgusted as I firmly believe that we must redouble our efforts to make the voices of women victims of violence heard.”
“I myself once said with aplomb that there was no smoke without fire on this subject, but life has shown me that on rare occasions, other motivations can come into playthis is my case today,” continues Nekfeu.
The Paris prosecutor's office confirmed having filed, between September 2023 and May 2024, three successive complaints from the ex-wife for rape, violence or harassment. However, a procedure is still underway “for forgery and use of forgery since May 2024”, concerning “the certificates provided in previous procedures” by the rapper, according to the public prosecutor.
The prosecution further clarified that Nekfeu for his part initiated several proceedings against his ex-partner for non-representation of children between 2022 and 2024. If two have been classified, the ex-partner must be judged at the end of January for two others.
