Real coach Ancelotti believes that the Spanish competition should come to a standstill, Osasuna coach Moreno is helping to clear the rubble
Carlo Ancelotti believes that the Spanish league should not have been played last weekend out of respect for the victims of the storm that hit the country. “Football is a party, but now there was no reason to party,” said the Real Madrid coach.
Real Madrid had to play football in the hard-hit Valencia on matchday 12, but that match was canceled. Just like Villarreal’s match against Rayo Vallecano. Furthermore, the ball did roll in La Liga.
“Football should have stopped this weekend,” says Carlo Ancelotti.
“We are very sad and feel very close to the people who have been affected. Hopefully everything will be fine soon. You can understand that it is difficult to talk about football at the moment, just like playing now.”
Football is the most important of the unimportant things in life.

“Football is a party and you can party when everything is going well, but if it isn’t then there is no reason to party,” Carlo Ancelotti continued. “It is the most important of the unimportant things in life.”
On Tuesday, Real Madrid will play against Milan in the Champions League.
“Compared to Valencia it is insignificant,” Ancelotti said, “but we have prepared because we are professionals and we will try to win. That is our task.”

Osasuna coach clears rubble in his own village
Osasuna coach Vicente Moreno comes from the hard-hit village of Massanassa. His mind is not focused on football and his employer respects that.
Moreno receives permission from Osasuna to help clear rubble in the Valencia region. As long as it takes.
