The Friday 1is November 2024around 6 p.m., an accident involving two cars occurred on the RD924 in Saint-Sauveur-la-Pommeraye (Manche).
“A vehicle was struck from behind by a second vehicle which was following it and which was traveling in this way on the same lane. The driver of the first vehicle was hurt et evacuated by emergency services ”, describes the gendarmerie company of Coutances.
A call for witnesses
The latter launched a call for witnesses pour find the driver of the second vehicle, which fledwhen he would be the cause of the shock.
“He initially left the scene on foot then he was picked up by another car which showed up on the scene immediately after the incident. »
At the same time, a judicial investigationcarried out under the direction of the Coutances public prosecutor's office, was opened by the Bréhal gendarmerie brigade to identify this motorist who had fled.
