The Riviera rapper Nekfeu denounced this Monday, November 4, in a press release the “malicious intentions” of his ex-wife, whose lawyer made public on Sunday the conflict between them over custody of their son and who was in police custody on Monday for failure to represent a child.
In a press release published on X this Monday, November 4, the rapper's lawyer, Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, mentioned “a press release entirely lying and defamatory” published on X Sunday evening by the lawyer of Nekfeu's ex-wife.
“These accusations have already been dismissed (…) and come back at the very moment when she was arrested last night, for the worrying disappearance of my 3 year old son“, specified the 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Ken Samara. For him, after a previous “financial blackmail”this is an attempt “in
desperation to sully (his) honor in public.”
“I am all the more saddened and disgusted as I firmly believe that we must redouble our efforts to make the voices of women victims of violence heard,” continues the artist. “I myself once said with aplomb that there is smoke without fire on this subject, but life has shown me that on rare occasions other motivations can come into play, This is my case today.”
On Sunday, lawyer Florence Fekom accused X Nekfeu of “psychological, sexual and physical violence” against her client “for nearly 4 years”, but also of “rape”. Nekfeu's ex-wife is said to be experiencing “real hell” and suffering from “severe post-traumatic stress”. On Monday, the lawyer confirmed to AFP that her client was currently being questioned in police custody. The Paris prosecutor's office could not immediately confirm this measure. However, he claimed to have filed three successive complaints from the ex-wife between September 2023 and May 2024 for rape, violence or harassment. However, a procedure is still underway “for forgery and use of forgery since May 2024”, concerning “the certificates provided in previous procedures” by the rapper, according to the public prosecutor. The prosecution also specified that Nekfeu for his part initiated several proceedings against his ex-partner for non-representation of children between 2022 and 2024. If two were closed, the ex-partner must be judged at the end of January for two others. Nekfeu is one of the stars of the French rap scene, appreciated by the public for his art of flow, his taste for rich rhymes and his ease in
media.
