Iran: an undressed student at a university in Tehran
In Iran, a student was violently arrested after she undressed in protest. She allegedly took off her clothes after an altercation with the moral police.
In a video published on social media on the weekend of November 2, we see a woman strolling scantily clad in the courtyard of her university in Tehran, to everyone's amazement. How and why did this young woman of 30 find herself thus undressed in the streets of Tehran? On social networks, she is becoming an icon of the women's defense movement in Iran.
Multiple sources claim that Ahoo Daryaei was attacked by a university guard because her veil did not conform. Her clothes torn, she decided to take them off completely as a sign of protest. University officials say something else: the young woman actually suffers from psychiatric disorders. In another video, impossible to authenticate, a man who introduces himself as her husband implores not to watch the Ahoo Daryaei video.
