The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. this Sunday, November 3, in Val d'Izé near Vitré. One car hit another which then hit a third vehicle. A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman died in the collision.

The three cars were traveling in three directions. The first took the departmental 105 in Val d'Izé in Ille-et-Vilaine. She would have entered the departmental 794 at the time when the two other vehicles were arriving. She hit the first one who then left in a third car.

Five people were on board the first accident vehicle, including a 28-year-old young man and a 27-year-old woman, sitting in the back, who were killed instantly.

Five other people were injured, three of them seriously. One of them was placed in an artificial coma. The other two were more lightly affected.
