Members of the Central Electoral Commission held a press briefing at 10 p.m. and announced the list of polling stations in the diaspora that extended their working hours due to the large number of voters.
Angela CARAMAN, CEC PRESIDENT: “The sections extended their activity schedule by one hour in Moscow, Tel Aviv, Brasov, Constanța and a city in Germany. And the wards in the diaspora according to the voters will activate. Up to this time, more than one million 690 thousand voters have appeared at the polling stations.”
At 21.00, all polling stations in the country have finished their activity, but many citizens from the diaspora continue to vote. According to the data presented by the Central Electoral Commission, until the closing of the polling stations in the country, a total of 1,683,244 voters managed to express their voting option, of which approximately 313 thousand are from outside the country.
