The end of the campaign is not only being played out on the meeting stage. Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance on the comedy show “Saturday Night Live”, Saturday November 2, recorded live in New York and broadcast on NBC. Three days before the election, scheduled for November 5, the Democratic candidate for the American presidential election took part in a sketch with the actress Maya Rudolph, her regular impersonator in this satirical program.

The two women, fface to face and separated by a false mirror, exchanged in front of a hilarious audience. They notably mocked the laughter of Kamala Harris, whom Donald Trump continues to mock.

The Democratic candidate, playing the role of reflection of her fictional alter ego, also said she was confident of winning because she knows how to do it “what your opponent doesn't know how to do, like opening a door”. A reference to images of Donald Trump trying with difficulty to enter a garbage truck.

“I’m going to tell you a secret: I’m going to vote for us”launched Maya Rudolph, in the shoes of Kamala Harris, to the Democratic candidate. “Great! Is there any chance you'll be enrolled in Pennsylvania?”joked the latter, in reference to one of the swing states where the outcome will be most uncertain on Tuesday.

Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton's 2016 running mate and Democratic senator from Virginia, also made an appearance on “SNL” Saturday night.
