This is a first for Aël Pagny, and the least we can say is that she is as comfortable as her father in front of a camera. Spontaneously, with a laughing eye, Florent Pagny's youngest daughter gave her first television interview to Audrey Crespo-Mara for the portrait of the week of Seven to Eightbroadcast this Sunday, November 3. In an extract published on X by TF1, the 25-year-old young woman, on the cover of the current issue of Galareveals his passion for photography, highlighted in his very first work: Pagny by Ael (ed. Harper Collins), to be published on November 6. The singer's worthy heiress photographed her father “over three very special years”obviously marked by the diagnosis of his lung cancer. But what pushed the pretty redhead with blue eyes to take the camera to freeze the present moment?
“I really like nostalgia when I look at photos. It's marking, capturing moments and having my memory… If one day I lose my memory, I want to take photos of [mon père] to remind me”explains Aël Pagny, before returning to the atmosphere of these wild shoots with his father over the years. “He doesn't like to pose, but he knows what looks good on him, so it's very fluid. We walk, we wander, he trusts me and I do what I love”she sums up with a broad smile on her lips.

This project which brought Florent and Aël Pagny together in the face of illness
Captivated by the shutter since always, Aël Pagny understood that her hobby could become her profession not so long ago. It was during her studies at a New York arts school that Azucena Caamaño's daughter realized that her dream could come true. “I discovered that I could make a career out of photography, and not just a hobby. I was really happy to be able to have more experience and practice”remembers the young woman.
Today, the publication of this photo book, prefaced and captioned by the singer, is a first consecration for the artist who took advantage of his project to benefit without limit from his father, still suffering from the disease. Originally, Aël wanted to document the birthday tour of Florent Pagny, who celebrated his 60th birthday in 2022, but this program quickly evolved following the announcement of the cancer of the performer adored by the French. One thing is certain: he will always be able to count on the support and love of his daughter, having undeniably inherited the creative fiber from her parents.
