An ode to attacking play in La Albuera, with Segoviana deserving more in a match full of good football and chances. A vibrant start in Segovia saw several clear opportunities within the first ten minutes, more for the locals through Davo and a poor clearance from Alexis that almost resulted in an own goal. Kochen saved the day with a brilliant stop from a shot by De la Mata in a phase of clear Segovian dominance. Gradually, the Barcelona B team began to find their rhythm, and twenty minutes in came the opening goal, Cédric showcasing his skill to dribble past Carmona and score into an empty net. Carmona saved what could have been 0-2 in a one-on-one with Noah Darvich after 35 minutes, with Davo almost equalizing for ‘Sego’ at the brink of half-time. He managed it in the fourth minute of added time, slotting home from a low cross from the right. Just after the restart, Berlanga rattled the crossbar from the edge of the area in another chance for Segoviana, with Darvich responding on the counter for the ‘culés’. At the hour mark, Rubén López cut in from the left and his low shot to the near post made it 1-2, but almost immediately afterwards, Davo’s powerful header brought the game back to level terms. The encounter was thrilling, swinging from end to end, and Berlanga struck the crossbar again from outside the box in the 79th minute. A late siege from the locals, led by a stellar Davo, ended without the reward of victory.

The DANA continues to impact Catalan lands, and in response to the warnings from the Inuncat plan and Civil Protection, all football in the province of Tarragona was suspended. The RFEF ultimately decided that the match at Nou Estadi Costa Daurada would be postponed to a later date.
