WWE Announces Opening Match For Crown Jewel 2024

WWE has confirmed the opening match for Crown Jewel 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The premium live event will begin with a significant six-man tag team match featuring Roman Reigns teaming with “Main Event” Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga. Tonga Loa will be present at ringside.

The match is scheduled to start at 1/12c on the WWE Network on Peacock, marking the beginning of the premium live event portion of Crown Jewel 2024.

Jey Uso Confirms Alliance With Roman Reigns

Following weeks of tension, Jey Uso has publicly acknowledged his reunification with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso ahead of their match in Saudi Arabia. This alliance comes after a period of reluctance from Jey, who initially distanced himself from The Bloodline due to past conflicts on Friday Night SmackDown.

The situation shifted when Solo Sikoa’s actions inadvertently led to Jey’s reunion with his brother. During the most recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey came face-to-face with The Original Tribal Chief, resulting in the resolution of their previous disagreements.

Confirming their unified stance, Jey made an appearance on Roman Reigns’ TikTok account, demonstrating their solidarity before facing Solo Sikoa’s faction. The former Intercontinental Champion’s social media activity validates the trio’s alignment heading into their match against The Bloodline.
