Washington, DC – After a highly publicized appearance shortly before the US election by Vice President Kamala Harris, where more than 75,000 people gathered at the Ellipse Park in Washington, DC, Donald Trump went into an angry tirade on his social media platform Truth Social.
Capitol speech shortly before the US election: Trump loses his temper after Harris’ appearance
From the perspective of many observers, Harris’ speech on Tuesday (October 29) represented a decisive moment in the election campaign and clearly eclipsed Trump’s personal record numbers at his own appearances.
The Democratic presidential candidate took the opportunity to harshly criticize Trump, emphasizing his “instability and obsession with revenge.” Their appearance took place just a week before the US election and caused a considerable stir – especially after Trump had held an event with around 20,000 visitors in Madison Square Garden the previous Sunday, which was far from his own expectations.
US election: Donald Trump believes election fraud in Pennsylvania
Trump couldn’t hold back and posted the night after Harris’ speech: “Kamala’s speech was terrible, full of lies and nothing new. Where are the jobs? There is none!”
He also fueled claims of voter fraud in the counting of early votes in Pennsylvania with another post: “Pennsylvania is cheating and getting caught on a scale rarely seen before. Report fraud to authorities. Law enforcement must act now!”
Republican strategy in the US election: Harris criticizes Trump’s attitude towards those who think differently
According to a Harvard analysis, the average number of participants at Harris’ events is significantly higher than Trump’s. Although Trump often exaggerates the size of his own crowds, his obvious envy of Harris’ numbers is unmistakable.
Harris stated during her speech, “Donald Trump has spent a decade making Americans divided and fearful of one another. That’s who he is. But America, I’m here tonight to say that’s not us.”
As Trump continued to call his opponents “enemies within” and threaten violence against civilians before the US election, Harris made it clear: “Unlike Donald Trump, I do not believe that people who disagree with me are the enemy . He wants to put her in prison. I invite you to my table.”

Trump’s tirades: memories of the 2020 US election are awakened
The explosive reaction to Harris’ speech and Trump’s angry retorts show how tense the campaign has become between the two candidates.
As the Trump campaign increasingly pushes a narrative of fraud and voter suppression that is reminiscent of his comments after the 2020 presidential election, Harris is demonstrating her willingness to stand up for unity and the rights of all Americans. The last days before the US election on November 5th continue to promise a lot of explosiveness and heated emotions. (chnnn)
