Since a visit to the Christmas market quickly becomes expensive, Aldi Süd offers an alternative offer in several large cities. This also includes Stuttgart.
Stuttgart – For many in Baden-Württemberg, the anticipation of the pre-Christmas season is already increasing, when the Christmas markets in the country will enchant us again with their festive decorations and tempt us with mulled wine, grilled specialties or all sorts of other goods. But a visit to the Christmas market can quickly become expensive. A cup of the alcoholic hot drink costs around four euros at the Stuttgart Christmas market.
The discounter Aldi Süd, on the other hand, is planning a special campaign this year and is organizing the “cheapest Christmas market in Germany” in four cities. Such an Advent market will also take place in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.
Mulled wine for 1 euro: Aldi brings a cheap Christmas market to Stuttgart
Visitors to the cheap Christmas market can look forward to “unbeatable” promotions, for example mulled wine only costs 1 euro. The cheapest Christmas market in Germany is intended to give everyone an “affordable Christmas,” according to a company press release. The special Aldi Advent market will take place in Stuttgart at Deckerstraße 75 from December 19th to 21st.
The stalls will be set up in the parking lot of the Aldi branch in Bad Cannstatt and will be open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Not only mulled wine is served on site, bratwurst (also veggie) and crepes in various variations for 2 euros each and sweet cookie variations for 1 euro are also offered. A free photo campaign and a children’s carousel also provide entertainment.
This is what Aldi’s cheap Christmas market offers:
- Mulled wine and non-alcoholic drinks for 1 euro
- Sweet cookie variations, 1 euro per bag
- Crêpes in different variations for 2 euros
- Bratwurst (also veggie) for 2 euros
Aldi Christmas markets serve a good cause
The discounter already organized such a Christmas market in Cologne last year. Since the campaign was well received, there is now a new edition in several cities this year. In addition to Stuttgart, Aldi’s Christmas markets will also be found in Cologne Ehrenfeld, Munich and Frankfurt am Main. Aldi does not use the income from these itself, but donates it to the “Off Road Kids Foundation”. So they serve a good cause in two senses.
