The most die-hard fans of “Astrid and Raphaëlle” will surely have been surprised by Raphaëlle’s behavior in the crossover with “Alexandra Ehle”. The screenwriter explains!
Astrid and Raphaëlle are making their big return this Friday, November 1 on France 2 on the occasion of the broadcast of the exceptional crossover with Alexandra Ehle, the detective series hosted by Julie Depardieu. In this special episode, our two heroines will take the train to go to Bordeaux.
They have in fact learned that the eye found in a jar of onions in Paris belongs to a man whose body was discovered without eyes in the Gironde city. While they must combine their forces in this unusual investigation, Astrid, Raphaëlle and Alexandra will very quickly discover things in common.
Raphaëlle pregnant at the end of season 4!
The most die-hard fans of Astrid and Raphaëlle were probably very surprised by the story of this special episode, and more specifically by the behavior of Raphaëlle (Lola Deweare). The policewoman indeed drinks wine with Alexandra and has fallen under the spell of Antoine Doisneau (Bernard Yerlès).
An attitude that does not fit at all with the events that occurred in the finale of season 4. Remember: in this episode, Raphaëlle and Nicolas (Benoit Michel) finally got over the hump and got together after years of turning around. .
And in the very last seconds, Raphaëlle took a pregnancy test and discovered to her amazement that she was pregnant. An end to the season which therefore does not fit at all with Raphaëlle's attitude in this crossover. Did the policewoman lose her baby? It's not as simple as that…
“This is an episode that is out of collection”…
Disconcerted by this behavior, AlloCiné asked Alexandre de Seguins, the creator and screenwriter of Astrid and Raphaëlle, where this crossover was located in the temporality of the detective series. And his answer is very clear: this episode is not the continuation of season 4.
“This crossover is obviously not between season 4 and 5”, he explained to us. “It was not intended to be broadcast just before season 5. That's life, we don't always do what we want (laughs).”
“In this case, it is indeed an episode which one could imagine taking place during season 4. It is an opus which is outside the collection and which falls outside the arches of the Astrid and Raphaëlle episodes. , since Raphaëlle has a slightly curious behavior if we refer to the end of episode 8 of season 4”
And if we are to believe what Astrid (Sara Mortensen) says at the start of the crossover, which talks about the trip to Brittany which took place in episode 7 of season 4, this opus would therefore be located between the episode 7 and episode 8.
So don't panic, season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle will pick up where season 4 left off, and will see the policewoman manage her pregnancy and her love affair with Nicolas.
