Olympic bobsleigh champion Lisa Buckwitz, who won gold in the two-man bobsleigh in 2018, is active on the OnlyFans platform. As “Bild” reports, the partnership started on November 1st and is initially designed for one year, but could also be extended.
“Fans get exclusive access to content that I don’t normally share – the daily grind, the dynamics in the team and the personal milestones that often remain invisible,” Buckwitz told “Bild”. She also emphasized the special benefit of the platform: “For me it is a real opportunity to show people what it means to fight at the highest level in this sport – beyond the competitive moments.”
In addition to exclusive posts and live videos, Buckwitz will also answer fan questions. Unlike her photos in Playboy in March 2022, OnlyFans is not supposed to be about nude photos. The social network aims to improve its reputation through more sports content. Buckwitz said: “This platform allows me to get in touch with my fans on a personal level and to network with people who are really interested in competitive sports and my path in it.”
The OnlyFans logo will appear on her bob and clothing in the future.
So far, the website has primarily attracted attention through erotic content, but wants to change its image. The goal: exclusive content from prominent people. Tennis player Nick Kyrgios, former Olympic champion Matthew Mitcham and ex-Bayern professional Douglas Costa are already among the athletes.
