After the 1-0 victory over Torino, Enzo Le Fée released the following statements:

The Fairy has Dazn.

Your feelings at the end of the match.
“Yes, today we had a reaction that we needed at home in front of our fans after the complicated match in Florence. It’s true that not everything was perfect, but today we wanted above all to demonstrate that we are united, compact, that we don’t give up. In this sense I would say that we have achieved our objective. Now we have to continue working because another very important match awaits us in three days.”

On your position on the pitch. Does it excite you?
“Yes, I would say that it is part of my mentality to be able to adapt in doing the two phases. In my young career I have always tried to interpret both phases in the best possible way. Then I remain a player who likes to touch the ball, to who likes to build from the bottom. Today I didn’t have the opportunity, I feel better and more comfortable and in this sense I hope to continue like this.”

Le Fée at the press conference.

Is this the turning point for you?
“Yes, today was a difficult match and we needed a reaction like that after the heavy defeat against Fiorentina. The most important thing, on a collective level, was to demonstrate that we are a united and compact team. It is in these moments of uncertainty that we can only emerge by fighting together. As far as I’m concerned, rationally, it was a match I’d been waiting for for a long time. I know that the club is counting on me and I hope to meet expectations.”

What are your thoughts on the environment here in Rome?
“For me these are quite normal things in football. Furthermore, we are Roma and we must do better; we have demanding fans, and rightly so. We had a complicated start to the season, with a change of coach and a dismissal, but we players have to adapt to these situations. Coaches change and many things happen in the life of a footballer. The most important thing is that, in a moment of difficulty, we remained united and continued to work. Now we have collected the second consecutive victory at home, and this is the most important thing. We must continue on this path”

Have you completely overcome your physical problem? Do you think this team can reach the Champions League?
“Physically I feel better and better. I played better today, even without the brace, and I would have liked to try again. I had no fear, no hopes or particular sensations. Now I’m sure I’ll try to get back into the rhythm. It’s true that I struggled a bit towards the end, but that’s normal, given that it’s been a while since I played a full match. To answer the other question, in my opinion this team, both individually and collectively, is incredible. We have changed several players and coaches, but the objective remains unchanged: to reach the finish line of the Champions League. The only way forward is to continue working, and we also need the support of our fans.”
