Disney+ broadcast this Thursday the final double episode of “Agatha All Along” which offers us its share of revelations but which ends with an unresolved question. Is a season 2 on the program?
Warning, this article spoils the last two episodes of Agatha All Along.
End clap for Agatha All Along. Disney+ put the last two episodes of Marvel's evil series online this Thursday, surely to better coincide with Halloween. Because it is a question of death in this season finale. Finally, Death. Last week, subscribers discovered the true identity of Rio, the Green Witch played by Aubrey Plaza.
The main antagonist of the series, Rio offers Agatha a deal: deliver Billy or die. After a short fight between the two women, Wanda's former neighbor decides to sacrifice herself for him and surrender to Death. But a twist in the last episode, Agatha returns in the form of a ghost…
She confirms to Billy that it was he who created the Road, thanks to his immense powers (and the writers had scattered all the clues throughout the series). In the last test, Agatha wants to help him realize his greatest wish: to bring Tommy back. If his mind wanders in the real world, he does not know how to recover a fleshly envelope.
No season 2 for Agatha All Along but…
Billy then searches in his mind for a body that his brother could “steal”: we do not see his face, but we know that he is a teenager brutalized by other boys, that he feels alone and that he has no family or friends. And that's all we'll see of his brother.
While fans were waiting to meet Tommy in the last episode of Agatha All Along, Marvel decided to keep the suspense going. And they will not be witnessing the reunion between the Maximoff brothers anytime soon since the House of Ideas has not planned a season 2 of the WandaVision spin-off. Just like the parent series, it is a one shot but which will have links to what is currently happening in the MCU.
Billy and Tommy coming to the cinema soon?
As we explain to you here, Agatha All Along is only a pretext to introduce two new Avengers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe: in the absence of seeing the Scarlet Witch return to the cinema, fans will welcome her two children: Wiccan/ Billy has his abilities when Speed/Tommy has the same powers as his uncle, Quiksilver.
We will therefore have to wait a little before seeing Joe Locke on our screens: either in an Avengers film (the Young Avengers?), or in a Disney+ series. The platform is indeed preparing Vision, centered on their android father. As for Tommy, we know from the comics that he had a difficult childhood and adolescence before finding his brother's trace.
We can also hope for one thing: that Marvel announces a series centered on these two superheroes, which would be inspired by the “Avengers: The Children's Crusade” comics. And we strongly believe in it.
