The Corsican derby did not take place as planned this Saturday October 26. While AC Ajaccio hosted SC Bastia for the 10th day of Ligue 2, the match did not come to an end.
Incidents… Then the rain
Shortly before half-time, smoke bombs were thrown between supporters forcing the match referee to interrupt the 22 players. Despite being banned from traveling, Bastia supporters went in large numbers to the stadium, during a derby that ended in a general brawl. When calm returned to the stands of Michel-Moretti, it was the storm which disrupted the match on the Isle of Beauty, the resumption was then impossible.
Definitively stopped, the game between Ajaccians and Bastiais will still have the right to an outcome. The disciplinary committee made the decision to play out the end of this confrontation on Tuesday, December 3. The two teams will resume the match where it left off, in the 42nd minute, with a score of 0-0.
