Breaking news! A terrorist attack was carried out on TAI, which has an important place in the development of domestic weapon systems, located in Ankara's Kahramankazan district, at around 15.30.
With the attack, explosions and gunshots were heard from TAI. A large number of special operations police and medical teams were dispatched to the region. After the first explosion, gunshots and explosions continued.
Immediately after the attack, special operations came to the facility and launched a large-scale operation.
MINISTER YERLİKAYA: WE HAVE 3 MARTYRS AND 14 INJURED
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that 3 people were martyred and 14 people were injured in the attack. Both terrorists were neutralized in the incident.
In the first images from the scene, it was seen that two terrorists got out of a taxi, started shooting at civilians and then headed towards the facility.
It was stated that the personnel were directed to shelters for security reasons.
The Ministry of Health announced that the injured were transferred to Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital and Bilkent and Etlik city hospitals.
TERRORISTS ON SECURITY CAMERA
The terrorists who carried out the attack were captured by security cameras.
In the images, it is seen that armed terrorists came to the TAI campus by commercial taxi.
While one of the terrorists was seen outside the building, the other terrorist, armed with a gun, was recorded to be at the entrance of the building.
1 DEPUTY GENERAL PROSECUTOR AND 8 REPUBLIC PROSECUTORS WERE ASSIGNED
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that 1 deputy chief prosecutor and 8 public prosecutors were assigned to the judicial investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the terrorist attack.

WHAT IS TAI?
Turkish Aircraft Industry Joint Stock Partnership (TUSAŞ) was established on June 28, 1973, within the Ministry of Industry and Technology, in order to reduce Turkey's foreign dependency in the defense industry.
