At only 18 years old, Sabah Aib was elected Miss -Pas-de- on Saturday October 19. A title which comes with a certain pressure, since many northern candidates have won the title of Miss before her.

A new chance to see the Miss France crown return to Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Sabah Aib was elected Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais on Saturday October 19 in Liévin, succeeding Ève Gilles, who led her way last year from the North to obtaining the crown of Miss France 2024 .

A journey that Sabah Aib hopes to continue today, who admits to feeling “a little bit of pressure” at the idea of following in the footsteps of many northern misses before her.

“Nord-Pas-de-Calais has brought back the crown of Miss France many times, so it’s certain that people are waiting for me around the corner,” she declared this Monday, October 21 on the set of BFM Grand . “Afterwards, these are examples for me, all these young women who have succeeded in achieving this goal, and I will give the best of myself to retrace their steps.”

The “beginning” of the Miss France adventure

Sabah Aib was elected on Saturday in front of an audience of more than 5,300 people, crowned by Ève Gilles in person, as tradition dictates. On the jury were two northern misses who had won the title of Miss France: Camille Cerf (Miss France 2015) and Maëva Coucke (Miss France 2018).
