Texas A&M‘s key injury heading into its road game against Mississippi State involved true freshman phenom Terry Bussey.
The receiver and return specialist popped up on the Aggies’ initial injury report on Wednesday as questionable before being made probable on Thursday to compete.
In the final injury report released before game-time on Saturday, Bussey‘s name was absent, meaning he’s available to go for A&M.
Third-string quarterback Jaylen Henderson’s status changed from doubtful to out for the game.
Having Bussey available is good news for the Aggies with their primary return man able to play and one of the biggest sparkplugs in the receiving game over the past few weeks.
Despite being listed as a defensive back, the two-way star in high school has seen his snaps primarily on offense.
He’s coming off a career performance against Missouri two weeks ago where Bussey caught three passes for 76 yards.
