France 2 is prime time leader on Friday October 18 with a rebroadcast of an episode of the French series “Captain Marleau”. According to Médiamétrie, this episode, entitled “The Price to Pay”, brought together 3,75 millions of viewers, or 21,5% of the public aged 4 and over. Targeting women responsible for purchases under 50 (FRDA-50), the episode recorded an audience share of 7,8%. “Captain Marleau” was created by Elsa Marpeau and is directed by Josée Dayan. She is played by Corinne Masiero. “The Price to Pay” was written by Alain Minier and Nathalie Hug and, facing Corinne Masierowe find Catherine Frot. On Friday October 11, a new episode of the series was offered, with David Hallyday headlining. It was watched by 5.11 million viewers (28.8% of the public; 8% of FRDA).
“The Master of the Game” on TF1 down on FRDA-50
TF1 is second with the sequel to “Master of the Game” hosted by Laurent Ruquier. The first part, from 9:12 p.m. to 10:16 p.m., brought together 2,14 millions of viewers (11,9% from the public; 20,6% FRDA-50). The second, from 10:24 p.m. to 11:37 p.m.: 2,10 millions of viewers (16,4% from the public; 26,1% FRDA-50). The previous week, for its launch, “The Master of the Game” had obtained excellent results. The first part (9:12 p.m.-10:06 p.m.) convinced 2.67 million viewers (14.6% of the public; 29.7% of the FRDA-50). The second (10:15 p.m.-11:36 p.m.) was seen by 2.50 million viewers (19% of the public; 35.9% of the FRDA-50). In a press release, TF1 welcomed these beginnings. The channel specified: “The show is a hit on targets and marks the best launch for a new entertainment show since the new version of “Star Academy”. “The Master of the Game”, French format, features twelve personalities invited to a distant home and having to find the identity of the celebrity who invited them there. Among them, one aims to sabotage everything… Elsa Bois, Max Boublil, Cartman, Valérie Damidot, Frédéric Diefenthal, Arnaud Ducret and Claire Francisci-Ducret, Jeanfi Janssens, Kody, Chantal Ladesou, Sarah Mortensen and Francis Perrin are of the part.
France 3 is third with “Eternel Aznavour: the event concert”, which attracts 1,62 million of viewers (9,9% from the public; 1,4% FRDA-50). This show was organized to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Charles Aznavour and to echo the release on October 23 of the feature film “Monsieur Aznavour” by Grand Corps Malade and Mehdi Idir, with Tahar Rahim in the singer’s shoes. This concert captured by Franck Broqua mobilized several artists, such as Grand Corps Malade, Santa, Patrick Fiori, and even Eddy de Pretto. Seven days ago, La Trois had on the menu the unpublished French documentary “The soundtrack of the 90s”, viewed by 1.01 million nostalgic fans (5.8% of the public; 4.9% of FRDA-50).
M6 is fourth with a new number of the program “Nightmare in the kitchen”, carried by Philippe Etchebest, which interested 1,47 million of viewers (8,7% from the public; 16,2% FRDA-50). Last week, M6 rebroadcast the American animated film “Vaiana, the legend of the end of the world”. The Disney feature film attracted 1.43 million viewers (8.4% of the public; 20% of the FRDA-50).
