the essential
Busy schedule for the four-time Olympic champion at the Swimming World Cup in Shanghai this Saturday. After a successful debut, the swimmer will be competing in two races, including a brand new one for him.
Barely time to celebrate his triumphant return, Léon Marchand must dive back into the small pool. With a new world champion title in the 100m medley, the Frenchman is looking ahead to two new events.
The different races
This Saturday, October 19, the Toulouse resident is embarking on a discipline in which he has very few benchmarks, the 100m freestyle. The 22-year-old swimmer will also start the 200m medley.
