In its latest bulletin published at 3 a.m. on the night of Thursday October 17 to Friday October 18, Météo France left four departments on red alert for floods or rain-flooding. Concerned: Rhône, Loire, Haute-Loire and Lozère. The departments of Ardèche and Alpes-Maritimes go into orange vigilance for thunderstorms and rain flooding.
Around thirty departments are also affected by orange vigilance for rain-flooding, floods or thunderstorms this Friday, October 18. These are: Val-d’Oise, Yvelines, Paris, Essonne, Eure-et-Loir, Loir-et-Cher, Indre, Haute-Vienne, Dordogne, Corrèze, Lot, Puy-de-Dôme, Lot-et-Garonne, Landes, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Gers, Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, Ariège, Tarn, Tarn- et-Garonne, Aveyron, Gard, Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Var, Isère, Ardèche and Alpes-Maritimes. The Hautes-Pyrénées will go into yellow alert.
