David Hallyday is a father who is very close to his children. The singer also spoke about the passions he shares with them on a daily basis.

A family of enthusiasts. Guest in the show “En Aparté” broadcast on Canal+, David Hallyday took part in the game of confidences with Nathalie Lévy. Indeed, the singer who is in full promotion of his reissue of the emblematic titles of Johnny Hallyday “Requiem pour un fou”, spoke about his family and the common passions which drive them.

David Hallyday advocates transmission. Indeed, the singer did not hesitate to include his son Cameron, aged 20, in his new musical project covering the titles of his own father. On this subject, he returns in the show “En Aparté”, to his son’s participation in his clip “Sang pour sang” which he reproduced 26 years after his own appearance in his father’s clip: “It’s is the logical continuation of life in fact. This song is about transmission so I wanted to go back to the start of this clip between my father and me. »

The father then spoke with pride of his son’s talent for singing: “At 19 years old, he really has this sensitivity, he thought it was important to do it and he really wanted to…” He adds: “And then he sings really well. I told him ‘you should take singing lessons because since he was little he just sings, naturally! »

A shared passion with his children

David Hallyday plays video games. Indeed, in addition to the passion for singing and cinema that he shares with his children, Taulier’s son likes to spend time in front of the screens. An activity which allows him to get closer to his children with whom he no longer lives. He explains to Nathalie Lévy: “It can happen to me, when I’m not at home, it’s actually a good way to share something. It’s quite nice. (…) These are unspoken things! »
