Pink October 2024: the free show on Place Vendôme in on video

On the occasion of the launch of Pink October, the month of breast cancer awareness, the Ruban Rose association unveiled a free show on Place Vendôme, where the column was illuminated in pink for the occasion, this Monday September 30, 2024.

Every year, the month of October is marked by a major breast cancer awareness campaign: Pink October. Throughout this operation, solidarity actions are increasing to raise public awareness and to finance the cause. This initiative of thePink Ribbon association is often launched by a Illuminated Eiffel Tower in pink as well as other Parisian monuments.

The Eiffel Tower and three other iconic monuments in the capital were adorned in pink this Monday, September 30, 2024, for the launch of Pink October. The opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer, before a month of events to raise funds. A free show was also on offer near Place Vendôme. [Lire la suite]

This year, four iconic places in the capital are adorned with the colors of Pink October on the evening of the launch: the Eiffel Tower, the National Assembly, the Obelisk of Luxor on the Place de la Concorde as well as the Place Vendôme. The latter also hosts a unique show which the general public can attend.

The appointment was given this Monday September 30, 2024 from 19h30 to discover a show musical during which we were able to find in particular the singer Amir. Ce spectacle of more than an hour also welcomed a parade of eight women suffering from breast cancer on this prestigious square whose column was also lit up in pink. This show was also held in the presence of three godmothers of thePink Ribbon associationClaudia Tagbo, Évelyne Dhéliat and Alice Detollenaere.
