The Landes Individual Trinquet Championship started this weekend. The 8 players from the 1st series are divided into 2 groups of 4; the first 2 of each group will remain at this level for the 2nd phase, while the last 2 will have to go through the play-offs. The sensation of this day came from Mickaël Lafourcade who beat the experienced Jérôme Lavielle by a very small point. Amédée Lafitte, the only Landais entered in the Basque Country championship, won during his first confrontation in the 2nd series against Mathieu Olhagaray with a score of 40 to 18. Among the young people, a team reached the quarter-finals of the championship of France, the M14s of POMN Pierre Fernon and Léandre Ducamp, authors of 2 victories against Pays Basque 5 and Pays Basque 8.
