Australian Open > Sinner, after qualifying for the semi-finals: “I watched the Djokovic-Alcaraz duel until the end. It's the best rivalry we have in tennis currently”

During the on-court interview after his showing against Alex de Minaur in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open, world number 1 Jannik Sinner was asked about Novak Djokovic's victory against Carlos Alcaraz.

“I watched until the end. It was an extraordinary match. These matches should be finals or semis, it's hard to see them in quarters. We all want these kinds of rivalries. It's the best rivalry we have in right now.”the Italian humbly declared.

Note that the defending champion, Jannik Sinner, will face Ben Shelton for a place in the final.
