ATP – Brisbane > In great form, Djokovic already wants to change his calendar: “I want to play these two tournaments”

During his appearance at a press conference after his authoritarian victory against Gaël Monfils this Thursday in Brisbane, the 20^e in 20 confrontations, Novak Djokovic spoke about his schedule for the coming months.

And unlike 2024, the Serbian intends to play many more tournaments this year, including the famous Indian Wells‐Miami sequence in March.

“We’ll see.” It's only the beginning of the season. I mean I have in mind the schedule for the next five or six months with possible scenarios. But I still have to take stock of post-Australia. I'm committed to playing in Doha (February 17-22), then I have to see for Indian Wells and Miami. I want to play both tournaments, but we have to see how I feel and talk about it with the team. And manage the schedule correctly, because I want to reach my best level in the biggest tournaments. The Grand Slams, of course, but also the Masters 1000 where I would like to play my best Tennis. It seems to me that I will play a few more tournaments this season, but we have to see how it goes. This is just the beginning. »
