With the wind rising against the authorization of match coaching from the stands, a reform definitively adopted by the ITF a few weeks ago, Taylor Fritz is not giving up.

After explaining why he was against with solid arguments, the American went even further by making a real counter‐proposal and a response to all those who explained that it was better to authorize coaching since the ban was not not respected by coaches.

“I think a lot of the reason they made that rule in the first place is that they were kind of intimidated because a lot of people were breaking the rules anyway and still coaching for the matches. In my opinion, I think there should be microphones in the players' box. I think there should be someone controlling the microphones.
