Sinner remains world number one, Pouille back in the top 100

If the top 10 of the ATP ranking remains almost the same this Monday, Lucas Pouille, on the French side, moves up to 96th place.

Status quo, or almost. The top 10 of the ATP ranking, still dominated by the Italian Jannik Sinner assured of ending the year world No.1, remains almost unchanged on Monday with the exception of an exchange of places between the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (9th) and the Australian Alex De Minaur (10th).

The stability of the ranking is explained by the absence of the best players in the three smaller tournaments on the circuit played last week (Stockholm, Almaty, Antwerp) while Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz (2nd), Novak Djokovic (4th) and Daniil Medvedev (5th) took part in an exhibition in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), which did not award any ATP points.

Dimitrov, beaten in the final by the American Tommy Paul (12th) in Stockholm, therefore progresses one place (9th) and passes De Minaur (10th), beaten in the quarter-finals in Antwerp by the Frenchman Hugo Gaston, who signed the first victory of his career against a top 10.

On the French side, note that Gaël Monfils, who has not played since his defeat in Shanghai against Alcaraz, lost eleven places and finds himself 52nd in the world. Beaten in the final of the Saint-Brieuc Challenger tournament by Benjamin Bonzi, Lucas Pouille made his return to the top 100 (96th). Ugo Humbert remains the first Frenchman (16th), ahead of Arthur Fils (20th) and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (50th).
