Beaten in Sunday’s final of the Shanghai Masters 1000 by the boss of the circuit, Novak Djokovic remains in fourth position ahead of Daniil Medvedev. The American Taylor Fritz, dominated in the semi-final in the Chinese megacity by the Serbian, gained a place to settle in 6th place, at the expense of Andrey Rublev.
Casper Ruud, 8th, and Alex de Minaur, 9th, moved up one and two places respectively. The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, 11th (+1), returns to the gates of the Top 10. Hubert Hurkacz, 12th, on the other hand, lost four positions. As for the French players, the N.1 tricolor Ugo Humbert, now 16th, fell one place. Up one place, Arthur Fils, 20th, makes his return to the Top 20.
