A year ago, Xbox players discovered the brand’s new strategy. Under the leadership of Satya Nadella, the president of Microsoft, Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond announced the arrival of exclusive titles from the competition. PlayStation players and Nintendo Switch owners were surprised to be able to obtain titles like Sea of Thieves, HiFi Rush, Grounded and Pentiment.
A first salvo which should have called for others, with an insistent rumor which has long evoked the arrival of Forza Horizon 5 on new media during last summer. A decision which seems to have been brushed aside by Microsoft, which should ultimately share only older titles or titles that fail to make enough sales. In each of these categories, we find Halo: The Master Chief Collection et Flight Simulator 2024which are now strongly anticipated to arrive among the competition.
A rumor confirmed by Jez Corden of the Windows Central site, to which he adds other names. According to him, Microsoft would have decided to release Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Age of Mythology: Retold on new media. And that’s not all since the American manufacturer is currently considering do the same for Hellblade 2: Senua’s Sagaa game which failed to find its audience despite undeniable qualities. It now remains to be known the timing of these new announcements, which could be made next February if we stick to last year’s calendar.
