ADM21 and NETIO launch the PowerPDU 8KF

The PowerPDU 8KF is a power distribution unit with 8 individually measurable outputs (8x CEE 7/4 (Schuko)) connected to a LAN network. Each output can be activated/deactivated and measured individually via LAN from the web interface, the NETIO Cloud online service or the NETIO Mobile 2 mobile application.

Remote control

Enable/disable/turn off each output individually via the device’s web interface, NETIO Cloud, NETIO Mobile 2 (iOS and Android) or via an external mechanical switch connected to the digital input (DI).

Power measurement

PowerPDU 8KF measures with better than 1% accuracy over the entire operating temperature range.

• 8x Current [A]

• 8x Charge [W]

• 8x Energy [Wh] – user resettable counter

• 8x Energy output [Wh]

• 8x Energy input [Wh]

• 8x TPF (True Power Factor)

• 8x Reverse Energy [Wh]

• 8x Phase Shift [-180…180°]

• Tension [V]

• Network frequency [Hz]

DI (digital input)

The DI (digital input) is a green terminal block used to connect an external mechanical switch (dry contact). Power on/off will be indicated on the device’s web interface.

Programmer

The timer function allows each output to be individually activated or deactivated at specific times and days of the week. Switching times are easily configurable in a graphical interface.

Power & PING WatchDog

PowerPDU 8KF is equipped with WatchDog PING (WatchDog IP) and WatchDog Power consumption (PAB).

• WatchDog Ping continuously monitors whether a given process or part of a system is working as it should. Otherwise, WatchDog restarts the process. Can be used for all 8 outputs.

• WatchDog Power is a standalone system based on “condition” and “action” (PAB – Power Analysis Block & Rules). It continuously monitors the current (energy) of the monitored device powered by any measured power output of the NETIO PDU device.
