GTA 6 – still confirmed for 2025, GTA 5 & RDR2 explode

Rockstar is in good shape, even in very good shape, and it’s not its parent company Take-Two that is going to say the opposite. If you follow us through social networks, you certainly knew that the group had an appointment for its quarterly call with its investors just a few hours ago. A very important meeting in which the company always includes information on its future games. Before giving you various details, since this is certainly the news you are waiting for, GTA 6 has once again been confirmed for fall 2025. The plans don’t change, but we also learn about GTA 5 and other titles.

We start here with GTA 5 which is still in great shape in terms of sales. To drive the point home, Take-Two announced that Grand Theft Auto V has now sold 205 million copies worldwide! While Red Dead Redemption 2 has just surpassed 67 million. A smaller figure, but just as impressive for this industry.

Despite all this, the Take-Two group announces that it has sold its Private Division. Its branch in charge of independent games. Despite excellent titles released by this label, the company wants to focus on big projects and what makes them strong.

GTA 6, Borderlands 4 et Mafia The Old Country…

Looking ahead, we believe Take Two remains extremely well positioned for the long term. Our vision is clear, our talent is second to none, and we have one of the strongest intellectual property portfolios in our industry. With many exciting new titles coming, including GTA 6 in Fall 2025, Borderlands 4 and Mafia The Old Country, we hope to create long-term value for our shareholders.
