With its thin and neat body, large, but light, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge deserves the title of giant ultraportable. Its Oled panel is comfortable and well calibrated, but lacks brightness. The connectivity is varied and efficient (long live WiFi 7!), while the Snapdragon X Elite keeps all its promises, with a slight downside for the graphics part. Powerful, this SoC is above all ultra energy efficient, which allows the Galaxy Book4 Edge to be a monster of autonomy, almost as much as the MacBook Air M3… Knowing that the promises of AI are still to be kept, the world Windows finally has one of the essential arguments it was missing.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
Beautiful, stylish and particularly well finished, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro appears to be a resolutely high-end machine. It combines an impressive number of advantages: an excellent Oled panel, a comfortable keyboard, rather rich connectivity for an ultraportable and an Intel platform that is both solid and energy efficient, almost as much as the MacBook Air. This will undoubtedly help to pass the monetary pill, which is also resolutely “premium”.
