If during CES Intel announced its chipsets B and H 800 as well as some non-K Core Ultra, there are still more to offer. Among the lot, we had no news about the Core Ultra 3 range for example, a series replacing the Core i3. Despite the brand’s silence surrounding this series, it is indeed planned, the sheet for a Core Ultra 3 205 having been available on the brand’s website.
Core Ultra 3 205 : a CPU eight cores spinning at 4.9 GHz?
With this Core Ultra 3, Intel is therefore planning a processor equipped with a total of eight cores thus benefiting from four P-Core Lion Cove and four E-Core Skymont for a total of eight threads. Yes, as a reminder, thehyperthreading was cut with Arrow Lake. Otherwise, we will notice the presence of 16 MB of L2 cache coupled with 15 MB of L3 cache and a NPU displaying 13 power TOPs.
At the consumer level/TDP/heat, it will be very contained… At the same time, we are dealing with entry-level here. The Intel sheet then indicates a TDP base of 57W with a maximum value of 76W in turbo mode. Clearly, this model should not heat up a lot compared to other processors in the range, far from it!
In terms of frequencies now, this little guy displays a maximum frequency of 4.9 GHz on its performance cores. On the other hand, the efficient cores will run at 4.4 GHz in turbo compared to 3.2 GHz in base frequency where the P-Core are at 3.8 GHz.

-Finally, on the side of the integrated graphic part, the sheet reveals the presence of a iGPU with two Xe-LPG cores running at 300 MHz with a max frequency of 1800 MHz.
Now there is one last mystery to solve, that of its availability. Indeed, the page mentions availability as already effective: “ Launched » but this is not the case. It remains to be seen whether this is a model reserved exclusively for OEM or not.
